He has led numerous terminal and airport privatisation and consultancy projects and provided strategic advise to public and private clients with focus on strategic development, airport management, enhanced customer experience meeting stringent commercial targets and delivering return on investments to the shareholder.

Alexander Fitzek has three decades of experience working as a masterplanner and consultant on national and international transport projects. His key expertise lies in capacity analysis, concept design and CAPEX estimations for Terminal Buildings. Alexander has been involved in numerous successful airport privatisation bids including Guarulhos Airport (São Paulo) and Belo Horizonte Airport (also in Brazil). All in all, he brings with him experience of working on over 30 airport projects across Europe, Eastern Europe, Russia, Africa and South America.

Dr. Diana Zitzmann is a building planning expert and a specialist in requirements management for airport buildings. Due to her fluent Russian language skills and her deep knowledge of the Russian culture she is also an expert for airport development in Russia and the Former Soviet Republics. Diana has conducted scientific research and published on the St. Petersburg architecture of the 1920s and worked as an architect on projects in Germany, Romania and Russia before joining amd in 2013. Diana has been the project director for new development options for Terminal 1 in Munich and for two new Authority and GSE Buildings at Hamburg Airport. For the new Terminal 2 at Berlin Airport she conducted the requirement analysis. Based on analysis she seted up the programme for the buildings, concept layouts as well as tender documents.

Olaf Bünck is an architect and real estate expert. Additionally he is also a specialist for architecture visualization. He founded his own start-up company in Berlin in 1994, which was for many years the top address for high-resolution architecture visualisations for major international projects, including airports. After over 20 years in architectural design and marketing, Olaf turned to real estate. He has been working on several master plan and airport city projects as well as vertiport concepts and has also delivered real estate analysis and concepts for airport and real estate clients.

Robert Brinkmann is a Senior Project Manager for terminal planning and masterplanning projects and expert for capacity planning and analysis. Additionally, he has been specializing in CAST terminal simulation software and in static analysis with Microsoft Power BI. He started his career in aviation as an aircraft mechanic at Lufthansa Technics in Frankfurt followed by a bachelor and master’s degree in aviation engineering. Robert has been working on several large-scale master planning and terminal planning projects for German airports as well as for capacity- and feasibility studies in the Middle East, Brazil and Cuba.

Christopher Gintner is an architect and urban planner with considerable international experience in terminal planning, project management, design development & coordination. Originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, with studies and work activity in Germany, United States, South America, and the Middle East. His airport portfolio includes the Abu Dhabi Midfield Terminal, as well as Berlin, Newark, Sofia, various locations in India and others. Retail design know-how and participation in large mixed-use projects, such as the interesting Opus Tower by renowned architect Zaha Hadid, in Dubai. Christopher Gintner is flexible, with extensive technical knowledge and attentive to details, providing remarkable design solutions and process optimization.

James Le Gros is a senior aviation consultant with 10 years experience in which he has concentrated on airport operations, planning and project development for international airport projects. Originally from New Zealand, James lived in Australia and England and worked there on international projects. After moving to Germany in 2013, he worked as project manager on the projects for First Oman Ltd. in Muscat on the project Al Ghubrah Residential and Commercial Area and such as Al Riyadh Development Authority in Saudi Arabia for the Headquarter of the Human Rights Commission. Since 2015 James worked on the projects Palmerola International Airport in Honduras and Newark International Airport, New York City, USA.

Pedro Oliveira is an architect and an expert for Autodesk revit BIM software. Beside his degree in architecture, he also holds a master’s degree in international management. He started his career working 5 years as an architect with ARQX Arquitectos in Porto where he worked as an Architect in all design phases for multiple projects. After moving to Germany, he worked 3 years for Gerber Architekten in Berlin where he was Project Lead for two large scale infrastructure projects in the Middle East and China – developed in BIM environment. Since May 2018 he led the concept development for Terminal 3 at BER Berlin airport (18 MAP Capacity), as well as supporting MAI’s projects in Latin America – Brazil and Honduras. He gives weekly internal revit lectures and has recently introduced video visualization’s as a powerful mean for communication with clients.

He led teams to craft sustainable long-term Masterplans, provided the best business case in due diligence projects for airport concessionaires, and helped banks and other lenders to understand aviation-specific risks and opportunities in technical advisory roles.

Sandra is an expert for airside concept layouts like runways, taxiways and aprons. Additionally, she works with “AviPLAN Airside Pro 4.0”, an aircraft maneuver and parking stand simulation software 2D/ 3D and with SkySAFE 2.0, an obstacle surface planner 2D/ 3D software. Sandra has 25 years of experience in airside planning for airports. She started her career with an apprenticeship as technical draftswoman in mechanical engineering. Later she joined sigma consult, a Berlin-Schoenefeld based planning company. The company became part of amd.sigma in 2012. Sandra has been working on airside conceptual studies for international airports in the middle east, south and central America, as well as on all of amd.sigma’s German projects. Additionally, she worked on planning permissions for a large number of hospital helicopter landing pads in Germany.

Queena Maksoudian is an architect and urban planner, Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit, with years of considerable international experience. Over the past years, she worked on a variety of architectural projects, from the initial design phase to completion, located mostly in Europe and the Middle East region. She particularly focused on large-scale projects, especially on the initial design and development phases, which require holistic planning, strategic thinking, the ability to find solutions, as well as project coordination, dealing with clients and preparing organized and structured presentations. Queena is a Green Building Professional accredited from LEED and DGNB Green Building Academies, she is both LEED Green Associate and DGNB International Consultant.

Maximilian Treichel is an expert for data analysis and capacity calculations. After his apprenticeship at the Berlin department for urban development, he dedicated his interest to his passion, aviation. The master's thesis at Lufthansa Technik in Hamburg, Germany, was successfully completed as part of his bachelor's and master's degree in aviation engineering studyed in Berlin. Maximilian has been working on several large-scale master planning projects for German airports as well as for capacity- and feasibility studies in New York JFK or Hokkaido CTS, Japan.

Olesya Tuzbekova has studied Aviation Management in Berlin and Aeronautical Engineering in Russia. Master in Aviation Management included a focus on aviation and knowledge of aviation operations for both airlines and airports, strategy development, and choice modeling. She started her career in aviation at United Aircraft Corporation, in Russia as a student working with actual aircraft and Life Support Systems for pilots. After successfully completing of studies she moved to the Department of Technical Training Facilities. During her time with UAC, her responsibilities included working with the integration and operation of comprehensive avionic equipment along with technical training facilities for pilots and engineers. Along with that, she had proven performance management processes and management for international projects in India, Malaysia, France and Russia. Olesya joined amd sigma in April 2021, she is responsible for the marketing and supporting business development activities withing the company and MAI team.
